The topic: Another part of the website is gone

Somebody emailed me yesterday, having problems with the links page.

Try as I might, I couldn’t get the link fixed. I figured maybe I’d just redownload the script. Not gonna happen, the guy who designed it has shut the doors on his scripting business, at least in that incarnation.

So, I figured with the Indian Florist spam I get, the spam messages I get, the people complaining about the comments made on their ratings pages, saying they’re just wrong and people are lying and blah, blah, blah, I decided to just take it down.

And take it down, I did. It’s all gone, one less headache for Dianne.

Mystie is trying to sneak/push her way onto my lap by shoving my elbow out of the way. She’s so funny and irritating at the same time. She just wants to be loved and I just want to type.

She’s half on, half off of my left thigh. Ah, she just got up, how much you want to bet she’s going to head for my shoulder next?

The topic: Lisa update

Lisa seems to be doing well, she’s drooling a bit, and she’s having trouble with hard food. I’ve started putting a bowl of hard food covered in water at both feeders and the cats are eating it.

She’s pretty happy, though, she purrs easily and although her mouth is probably still sore, it doesn’t feel as painful as it did a couple of weeks ago.

She has an appointment for Monday at ten, for what I hope is her last recheck.

The topic: Today was the first day
----------------------------------------------

Of not getting up and going to breakfast at Izzy’s Cafe.

See, Brian will not always be here to go since he’d like to get something going up at that property. And I’m not always going to want to go by myself. And after getting up so early during the week, to go walking and make his lunch, well, sleeping in sound mighty nice.

And our favorite waitress got married last year and has been able to get off of working on Saturdays. On top of all of that, they got a new cook in the past six months and we’re getting the point where we don’t really care for the food all that much.

So, last week, we went in a little early and “our table” was taken. The girls were all apologetic, because they usually have coffee cups and water already set up for us. This was the perfect timing because we were able to tell them it wasn’t really that big of a deal and that they shouldn’t expect us every Saturday anyway, blah, blah, blah…

I slept in this morning. It was nice.
