catstuff 10:16 AM - 04/17/2007 The topic: Lisa update ---------------------------------------------- Well, it’s not over yet.  I have to take her in again, in two weeks. She’s lost ten ounces since the surgery. The vet didn’t like that.  Her mouth looks a lot better, but she shouldn’t be having the problem eating dry food that she’s having.  So, he gave her a shot of depo-medrol (steroid) and a shot of B12.  I also came home with a twice a day, two week prescription of Clavamox.  I had a choice of liquid or pill and since Miss Lisa like the Pill Pockets so much, I opted for the pills. And she stays on the pred for the time being (a half a pill every other day). *sigh* And there was no charge for any of it.  He said surgery follow ups are free.  | | Permalink

catstuff 08:52 AM - 04/17/2007 The topic: Why we eat at the table ---------------------------------------------- click for a larger pic Well, we’re supposed to anyway.  Brian ate Thursday’s leftover meatloaf and au gratin potatoes for lunch Sunday and he thought he’d be safe sitting on the loveseat. Bad move. Bart’s eating a piece of meatloaf that Brian sat on his shoulder.  Mickey is behind Bart, wondering if he gets a piece.  Ollie, the flatulent cat, is on the arm of the loveseat, checking out the food that is before his face.  Sammy does his “please, sir, may I have some more” begging, looking up longingly at the plate in Brian’s hand. Chandler just wishes everyone one get the hell off of his bed so he could go back to sleep. | | Permalink
