The topic: Movie review: Noah

----------------------------------------------

We watched Noah last night. What the hell was all that about? Seriously.  Good thing we watched it at home, otherwise I'd be pretty upset that I lost two and a half hours of my life that I'd never get back.

I like all of the actors in it, but this movie didn't hold my interest at all. It was a dark movie, it was a mean movie and besides that, it was a stupid movie. It didn't hold my attention at all (feed the kitties, find DaNiece, oh there she is,  on the chair in the bedroom, play a few games of Candy Crush Saga on my iPad, start to doze off....) which is why I'm glad we saw it here at home.

After it was over, Brian looks at me and asked "this is what some Christians got upset over?" Because the movie was joke. Honestly, I can only see the bad buzz and hoopla over the bastardization of a much beloved bible story as a publicity ploy. "Well, I want to see how bad it is for myself, here's my fifteen bucks..."

Brian wondered where I'd place it on the movies we've seen in the past year. I replied "a step above the Purge".

It's all about the CGI and shouting at God and killing all the people in the world and blah, blah, blah.

I can't even say I'd want it on as background noise. I didn't like it that much.

I don't recommend this movie at all. For anyone.
