I think the United States government is giving Ford Motor Company funding to install some sort of chips in various new vehicles. These chips affect traffic lights.
They affect them so that when the vehicle is at just the right distance from the traffic light, the traffic light immediately turns amber. Leaving the driver no option but to run an amber light or to stop.
I believe we have one of these vehicles. There is no other explanation for the great amount of lights we hit turning amber. It doesn’t matter if I’m driving or Brian’s driving (and we both have different driving styles). This is the only reasonable explanation.
The government is doing it.
Our Escape is at the local Ford dealership right now getting an oil change. I asked that Brian request this traffic light chip be removed.
I don’t think he did.
