We found a penny on our walk this morning

The topic: KittyMeezer

----------------------------------------------

Well, it seems like he’s back for a while.  NotWally hasn’t been around in weeks.

For a couple of months, we rarely saw KittyMeezer and towards the end of that couple of months, we never saw him at all.  We’d know he’d been here because there was a minute amount of cat food eaten during the night or day.  A little can of Fancy Feast took twenty-four hours to disappear.

I saw him occasionally on the house down on the corner, a place that has a large amount of juniper bushes at the side of the house, a place that feral cats called home for many years (until the bunwad started setting out traps and taking the cats to be euthanised).  He’d come out from under the juniper in the middle of the day and stretch out in the sun.

But within the past couple of weeks, he’s back here. Full time.  And for a couple of days, he was ravenous, not getting enough to eat, no matter how many cans of food we’d put out.  I finally put some of the Kirkland brand dry cat food out for him and he likes that.  That helped.

Anyway, last Friday, he was on the front bank, soaking in the sun.  I got a picture of him doing so.

It's good to have him back.

Hi Lisa and Kittymeeze,

Does Kittymeeze have a bio, like the other kitties, on the site somewhere? I’m just curious about his history. He’s adorable. Love the website. Thanks for your time.

No, he doesn’t.  I really should put one up for him, since he has been around for such a long time.  I guess the best thing for me to do is search the diary archives for mention of him.

I guess I never put one up for him since he never came inside.

Maybe he would like to come inside now? I love his looks and well I love the apple headed siamese anyway. Tell Brian to go and have a talk with him. lol

He’s a beautiful cat!  Sure wish he would come inside. I think you should bring him in anyway, he’d get used to it eventually! I can’t imagine someone letting a Siamese loose like that.

What a handsome guy!
I wish he’d come in, too.
