I was in bed (Brian left early this morning). Heard the rumble, a little house shake, more in the family room than in the bedroom/office side of the house, then it went away.
Second one in less than a week. And this one was closer.
Last year (year before?) we had a 3.2 here in Winston Salem, NC. Scared the crap out of us….we still have damage to the house….things seemed to crack. I don’t see how you do it, I have never felt so helpless in all my life, with our normal tornados at least there is warning and you can get out of it’s way. With an earthquake you are just stuck holding on and praying.

lisaviolet is seventy something, married with no kids, takes care of lots of cats, likes taking photographs, loves Southern California weather and spends altogether too much time avoiding her responsibilities.
