The topic: For review: Winter’s Tale

Okay, the reviews on this sucked. They just aren't good at all. But you know what? I liked it. I really did.

I wanted to see it when it was first released, but didn't get invited and I didn't think it would grab Brian as much as it grabbed me so I just added it to my Netflix queue. It got here yesterday and we watched it last night.

It's a love story. It's a magical story. It's a story of good versus evil. It has a flying horse! With gossamer wings! It has snow! And ice skating!

Russell Crowe is delightfully hateful as evil. And I've always liked Colin Farrell and he did well (in my opinion) as the unknowingly good guy in this. (One of these days I'll get used to the idea of using the "but wait, there's more" option in this blog to get deeper into a review that includes spoilers, but not just yet.)

Yeah, I'll watch it again. And so will Brian. He liked it, too.
