catstuff 01:52 PM - 03/05/2009 The topic: Crap. ---------------------------------------------- Skippy has FIV.  Feline AIDS.  Same thing Handsome had. Transmitted by deep bite wounds.  The vet advised euthanasia.  Because of the danger to the other cats.  Skippy is not an aggressive cat.  In the one altercation I broke up, Jackie was the aggressor and as soon as the testosterone has left Skippy’s body, Jackie should be okay. Crap, crap, crap.

I admire all you do.  My husband and I are in the same cat boat as you are.  We have 28 cats (all neutered and spayed) kept in the house and we also trap the ferals around here.  We are fortunate to live in a rural location on 10 acres.  We have had FELV cats, cats with Aids, Blind Cats, Deaf Cats, and cats with 3 legs, and most of all other types of problems.  We have never however had a cat reproduce kittens and as long as we can we will not let that happen. I am sure with your experience that you will keep Skippy, as right now we have two cats with Aids and they are fine. Keep up the good work Sue Posted by Sue @ Thursday, March 05, 2009 - 4:29:57 PM
