The topic: Pancho figured out the cat door

----------------------------------------------

I have no idea when.  If I’d have known, I could have opened up the house.  He’s hanging out under the pool pump right now.

When I first saw him, he ran and tried to get over the fence.  Not a good sign.  Most of the other cats have run for the house the first time they were outside and wanted to run for cover.

The topic: Blood drops

----------------------------------------------

Brian tells me this morning that some cat pooped in his sink.  And that there were blood drops in his shower.  And in the kitchen sink, as well as some poop there (ew - bleach is my friend).

After he leaves for work, I see blood drops on the tile in the dining room.  Not the thick bright blood drops that come from an injury, but the lighter drops that indicate diluted blood. As in urinary tract infection.

And who might have this infection? This is the question.  I wonder if it might be Rachel, she’s been wanting in and out and in and out of the house the past 36 hours. Kirby?  I know he likes to pee on the kitchen counter.  Don’t know about the poop.  He also hits Brian’s shower as does Rachel.

I’ll medicate them both.  Just in case. And I’ll keep watching the rest of the clowder for cats who are squatting or spending more time than normal cleaning themselves.
