We found a nickle on our walk this morning

The topic: A warning to all husbands

----------------------------------------------

If you get a hair up your ass to clean out the freezer and your wife keeps her baking goods in the freezer, never, ever ever ever EVER throw out any of said goods without her permission.  Ask her first. Warn her that you’ve got this hair. Better yet, have her stand there while you start throwing things away, to make sure you don’t throw something out that is in the freezer for a reason.  Such as seasonal chocolate chips that were purchased on sale that will still be good to use the next season. And the peanut butter chips. And the combo chips.

Don’t do it.  Do NOT throw baking goods away.  If your wife does the baking, keep your mitts off of her goods.  Or else, you WILL be keeping your mitts off of her goods.

If you know what I mean.

Oh - I KNOW what you men!
my husband get a bee in his bonnet about “Cleaning UP’ which means throwing stuff into the garbage - if HE doesn’t think it is worth anything/isn’t valuable/ etc etc…..
I have had to retrieve a very expensive and quite beautiful item, a family heirloom (MY side) from the “chuck out pile.  A gift from the estate of my Granmother…. why?
“Because we have too many pots!”
?
It came out of the display cupboard for a dinner party and was on it’s way back in when it ‘disappeared’ -
It had been on the dining table and he was setting up his laptop for some surfing (I was in the office and working on my laptop - his usual domain at nights - his turn is how he thinks of it - I am working ... he was playing… sigh….
Anyway - after working out what had occured - well…. let me tell you….. I know what you mean…
He was not going to have any access to my wares either… unless we are talking about GLAZED eyes!
Cheers - thanks for the laugh!

I told my husband that the next time he threw something away that was important to me, I would confiscate one of his favorite items and discard it where he would never find it again.  I only had to carry out the threat one time.  Now he is very careful about what he throws away around here.
