I looked out into the backyard. Skip was on the other side of the fencing.
I hear their dog barking in their yard, I yell, they don’t come out. So, I did a quick ZabaSearch, found their phone number and called. He came out and got the dog in. I watched Skip, he walked along the fence and went into the yard with the tree hating neighbor. I ran over the, rang the doorbell twice, no answer. I tried the gate, the gate wasn’t locked, so in I went.
I saw Skip laying under the avocado tree. I was able to get him and carry him home, holding him tight against me, a big handful of scruff in my right hand, supporting his weight with both arms.
Brought him in, put him on the floor and he’s outside laying by the pool.
“No, biggie” he says.
Grrr…..
Now, to figure out how he got out. He might have climbed one of the little palm trees. Not big enough for a barrier, but maybe big enough for him to climb it and head over the fence. Brian said he’ll cut it down if he has to (I called him, he’s not home).
