The topic: I’ve been pretty busy
----------------------------------------------With my annual pre-October Disney Meet cleaning the past couple of weeks.
After the 17th, things should get back to normal. I hope.
Anyway, I just wanted to make a quick post that someone left a message on the catcam guestbook about moving the office catcam. Their suggestion wouldn’t have worked, but I did move the camera. Now you can see the water fountain, the kibble feeder and the front of a litterbox.

I’ve just been wondering . . . what is the Disney meet?

For most of my married life, we’ve gone to Disneyland for my birthday. Well, after the night Brian fell asleep on the drive home (he was driving) we started spending the night. Maybe back in 91?
Anyway, I mentioned going for my birthday online and some friends thought it would be fun to meet up with us. I met them in real life for the first time when they walked up to me at the Paradise Pier wearing masks and cat tails. *lol* That was back in 1999.
And every year, we still meet. This will be the eleventh year. Due to work circumstances (not being able to get time off or not working at all), this will be one of the smallest meets ever.
We’ve always worn these way cool (some think they’re silly) headbands, with pinwheels on the end. And at one point I started making us all shirts and then buttons.
There will be eight of us total this year (the biggest was twenty-six). Last year, one of the cast members, Pat, took us under her wing and ushered us through Fantasyland, getting us in the back door to many, many rides (bypassing the lines). And we got premier viewing for the parade. She told me to make sure I contacted City Hall in advance this year and they’d make us some extra special magic. I did and we’re supposed to meet up with her in front of It’s a Small World.
The shirts are all made, the button graphics printed, I just have to put them together.
It’s really a fun time for us.

lisaviolet is seventy something, married with no kids, takes care of lots of cats, likes taking photographs, loves Southern California weather and spends altogether too much time avoiding her responsibilities.
In her spare time, she makes pretty things to sell in her store.
