We found a penny, head up! on our walk this morning

The topic: Well, it’s almost up!
----------------------------------------------

After messing with the store all last week, trying to get it to run, I finally cried "Uncle!" and contacted the developer of the software.

They were very supportive and I felt bad, I offered to send them some money. In response, the issued an invoice for a dollar less than I offered and I paid it. Now, I don't feel guilty for having them work on software they no longer support because it's so out of date.

Anyway, there have been a few problems and I'm down to just figuring out how to get the top background changed, change some font colors and background colors, change the shipping charges and I'll open it back up with the stuff I already had.

I intend to make papercrafts and sell those as well.  The problem with the fancier, bigger projects is shipping.

But I'm pretty excited about doing this again.

And getting back into making jewelry! I miss that.

I have this big table in the family room that I work at. I've got two power strips glued to the bottom. The second one rarely stuck and the last time it fell off, I used Gorilla glue. That works. Last night, the first strip fell off, so I spent an hour chiseling the stuff that was on the back off of it and as if this writing, it's glued in place with two clamps to hold it. Hopefully, it will work.  I heart my workbench.

I ordered some new flickering flame candles, I'm going to make some lanterns and see how cool they turn out.

The topic: I have a confession to make
----------------------------------------------

I've only seen the first Star Wars movie. I saw it a long, long, long time ago. I remember nothing of it.

So, TBS is running six Star Wars movies today. I think maybe I'll watch them.

Twenty minutes into the first one they're showing and, yeah, I'm not gonna do this. I haven't been drawn into it at all. Boy, was Natalie Portman young.

Now I'm watching Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

May the fourth be with you.

The topic: Conversations on a rainy day
----------------------------------------------

Yesterday was cold and rainy. We got over an inch and a quarter in a twenty-four hour period. I even had the heat on.

Not much was happening on the interwebs and honestly, we couldn't find a damned thing on television to watch.

Last week, on two separate nights, we watched an episode of an Amazon original "Bosch". Brian made it quite clear that he did NOT want to binge watch the series. He wanted it to last.

Yesterday, we watched one episode, streaming on the Roku.

We watched an episode of something else on cable.

He goes through the guide. Nothing.

Him: There's nothing on.

Me: There's always "Bosch".

Him:

Me:

Him: Okay.

Six and a half episodes of "Bosch" later, I'm in the kitchen, starting to make dinner.

Him: You don't have to do that.

Me: What will we have to eat?

Him: I dunno, I can get something.

Me: What would we have?

Him: Anything except burgers. Arby's? Mexican?

Me: Mexican sounds good. Do you want to finish watching this episode?

Him: Yes.

An hour and a half later, all episodes watched. He says "what are we having for dinner?"

He had hot dogs. I had cottage cheese and peaches.

I shoulda cooked dinner.
