The topic: Conversations on a rainy day

----------------------------------------------

Yesterday was cold and rainy. We got over an inch and a quarter in a twenty-four hour period. I even had the heat on.

Not much was happening on the interwebs and honestly, we couldn't find a damned thing on television to watch.

Last week, on two separate nights, we watched an episode of an Amazon original "Bosch". Brian made it quite clear that he did NOT want to binge watch the series. He wanted it to last.

Yesterday, we watched one episode, streaming on the Roku.

We watched an episode of something else on cable.

He goes through the guide. Nothing.

Him: There's nothing on.

Me: There's always "Bosch".

Him:

Me:

Him: Okay.

Six and a half episodes of "Bosch" later, I'm in the kitchen, starting to make dinner.

Him: You don't have to do that.

Me: What will we have to eat?

Him: I dunno, I can get something.

Me: What would we have?

Him: Anything except burgers. Arby's? Mexican?

Me: Mexican sounds good. Do you want to finish watching this episode?

Him: Yes.

An hour and a half later, all episodes watched. He says "what are we having for dinner?"

He had hot dogs. I had cottage cheese and peaches.

I shoulda cooked dinner.
