Okay, it's hot, I think I've established that fact. So, in the early morning, we've been opening up all the screen doors because we get a better airflow. And the garage door is open to help with airflow there. As the day heats up, I close the doors.
I don't know what was going on yesterday, but we had a buttload of flies. I'm serious. Flies all over the kitchen and laundry room. A few in the rest of the house, a more plentiful spillover into the dining room, but nothing like in those two rooms.
So, I got out my handy dandy electric fly swatter
and went to work. I must have killed over fifty flies in the space of an hour. Their dead carcasses were just laying there until I swept them into a paper towel and into the trash.
I can't remember ever having this many flies in the house. It was weird and creepy. I understand the ants, but the flies?
No clue.
This morning was much better than yesterday.
