After some pretty scary “we’re broke!” moments, the money is in the new account. I called this morning to make sure the $1200 that had been taken from the reserve was put back into reserve and that we were credited for all fees and finance charges due because of the reserve leaving the account.
I was assured all would be as it should within 48 hours.
Whew! This is something I hope never, ever happens again. It was a wake up call, though, Brian’s back to work after taking the (so far) year off of work on his tractor and to help his brother with his various projects. Not having an emergency fund to rely on, well, it can sure hit you like a bucket of ice water.
