The topic: The next three hours oughta be fun.

----------------------------------------------

I pulled up all of the food last night because Benny is going in for his yearly “do” this morning.  And since he’s a squirmer, he might have a little anesthesia.  So, he wasn’t allowed to eat after midnight.  And when one can’t eat then no cats can.  It’s easier to pull up the food than to isolate the cat.

This morning when I opened KittyMeeze’s can of Fancy Feast, Benny was in the garage with me, along with some other cats.  He must be hungry because he rarely does this.  For some reason, Oliver went after Benny.  Then I yelled, Oliver ran out and Handsome came in, giving Benny the eye (remember, Handsome hates Benny and goes after him every chance he gets).  I hit Handsome with the spoon.  Not hard, but enough to get his attention.  He backed off.

When Oliver went after Benny, some cat went sliding across the garage floor and into the Drinkwell fountain, spilling water all over the floor.

And it’s not even six am yet.

Thanks for the morning laugh!  LOL I have enough “adventures” with four cats.  I can’t imagine have 5 or 6 times as many!

It’s 7:30 your time and I’m seeing alot of restlessness on the patio cam…cats running in and out the door! Funny to watch

The cats are running in and out of the door because they hope they can find some food. Brian’s getting peanut butter and jelly for lunch because I don’t dare open a can of tuna right now.

There’s an awful lot of unhappy cats right now, lots of growling and slapping going on.  In less than a half hour, things should start settling down. I’ll get Benny in a carrier and put the food back out for the restless masses.

I was watching the patio cam, in one shot Sagwa was just sitting on the patio, the next his back was arched and his tail was all fluffed out.  I did a screen print and blew up the size to see what he was looking at, but couldn’t see anything, looks like something under a chair, but no cat tails in sight.  Screen prints just aren’t good visual images.
