The topic: New stuff

----------------------------------------------

My old Olympus C-740 Z is dying. The one I got before our vacation in 2003. The media card door won't stay shut. I taped it shut with packing tape (it's clear tape, so it doesn't look dorky). I can download my pics using the USB port. Then it lost all settings twice in one week. I'm not a happy camper.

I'd been looking at a new Canon EOS 40D SLR as an additional camera, but wanted something to replace the Olympus. Well, I did some research and found this, an Olympus SP-570 uz, that uses the same cards and batteries as my current camera. So, I ordered it.

I found it cheaper elsewhere, lots cheaper, then research about the sites selling it so much cheaper and decided to go with a company I trust.

I'll be holding off on the Canon, because I've got that Canon PowerShot Pro 1 and I still haven't learned how to use it. And I can't seeing spending more money on a fancy new camera when I haven't even taken the time to learn how to use my old one.

That’s what killed my old Mustek camera only I couldn’t tape the door or it would lose power. I love my Canon.
