The topic: Lisa update: YAY!

----------------------------------------------

She’s put on four ounces in two weeks.  And her mouth looks real good.  No more trips to the vet for this problem!  The vet said there’s not much left in her mouth for the immune system to attack.  *grin*

She will be on a maintenance dosage of prednisone to keep the problem at bay, but I think as long as she gets a pill pocket, she won’t care.

Did I mention how she reacts when she hears me opening a pill bottle?  She jumps out of her chair and comes over to me, waiting for her meds.

Oh, wait, not her meds, but for a yummy treat.  A Pill Pocket.  I highly recommend these for cats who are hard to medicate.  Not all cats like them, though.  But enough like them in our household to make them a must have.

Anyway, she’s home and she’s happy.

I’m going to have to try the pill pockets, my Tuffy is a bear to medicate.  He tries to kill me
everytime.

My rainbow angel Didi would walk right up to me and suck down whatever meds I had in the syringe.  I never even had to put a hand on her.  She was such a good cat.

That’s great about Lisa.  I’m so glad she’s doing better.
