Well, it’s not over yet. I have to take her in again, in two weeks.
She’s lost ten ounces since the surgery. The vet didn’t like that. Her mouth looks a lot better, but she shouldn’t be having the problem eating dry food that she’s having. So, he gave her a shot of depo-medrol (steroid) and a shot of B12. I also came home with a twice a day, two week prescription of Clavamox. I had a choice of liquid or pill and since Miss Lisa like the Pill Pockets so much, I opted for the pills.
And she stays on the pred for the time being (a half a pill every other day).
*sigh*
And there was no charge for any of it. He said surgery follow ups are free.
