Looking for the perfect combination for some of the card kits I have.
Leo and Mary (SVGCuts) split earlier this year and he's started up his own kit company and has some pretty nice holiday cards and Mary put hers out there a few weeks ago. I got them all, so now I have to decide on colors and embellishments and all of that stuff.
I have a storage container that's supposed to be for solid colors, single sheets (not the cardstock pads). I also had the paper I printed out here in that container. Well, yesterday, I went through what was in there and what a mess. Every piece of scrap from a couple of different projects was in there. Some had very little usable paper, it should have been tossed. Others only had a small portion cut out and that could be put back in with the pad from where it came (like the glitter paper). If it's in the pad, I can use it, if it's in this container, I don't know I have it. I actually have a separate container for scrap. I still need to sort the cardstock by color (again). And put the patterned paper that was pulled from pads back into those pads (before I start cutting I pull out different patterns and colors, not really having decided exactly what I want to use). I found a couple of pieces that were badly cut and the entire 12 x 12 piece of cardstock was ruined. Why did I save those?
I really should get better at taking care of this as I go along, not save it up for a year or so, then do it.
I also got some shimmer spritz with birthday money, I liked it so much I ordered bigger sizes. Two more bottles should be getting here today and I'll practice with those. I think these will accent the snow nicely.
