The topic: Advance screening: The Hundred Foot Journey

----------------------------------------------

Oh, yeah. I liked this movie. I liked this movie a lot. It's at the top of our list of the movies we've seen over the past year.

No special effects, no sex, very little violence, no swearing, just an amazing job of telling a very touching story.

Hassan had a talent and it was obvious from his early days helping his mother do the shopping at the market. The family had a restaurant, but due to events following an election, they were forced to move to another country. They moved to England, but left because it was cold and the vegetables had no flavor. They ended up in France. Beautiful scenery. Lovely country. And the vegetables were perfect.

And that's where this story unfolds. And a wonderful tale it is. I'd like to say more but everything I want to say I'd consider a spoiler. So, I just won't say anything. (I really have to figure out a way around this obstacle.)

If you get the chance to see this, do it. You won't be disappointed. I promise.
